I am sharing a case I have just completed. This was an approximately 7 mm sinus lift performed using the bone-plug technique, starting from about 3 mm of residual bone. A trephine was used to prepare a bone core approximately 2.5 mm high. The Mallet impulses subsequently reduced its thickness by compressing the cancellous bone. The 300 instrument was then used to displace the core towards the sinus without tearing the membrane. A xenogeneic bone graft mixed with hyaluronic acid was inserted, followed by the implant.

Condivido con voi un caso appena fatto. Si tratta di un rialzo di circa 7 mm eseguito con la tecnica del tassello. L’osso di partenza era circa 3 mm. Con una fresa carotatrice è stata realizzata una carota alta circa 2,5 mm (con i colpi del mallet si è poi assottigliata comprimendosi la midollare). Con lo strumento 300 è stata spinta verso il seno evitando di lacerare la membrana. E stato inserito un innesto di osso eterologo mescolato con acido ialuronico e alla fine l’impianto.
