Sinus lift on 2 mm of bone after removing an orthodontic screw: a risky case

An unusual case. We removed the miniscrew to avoid a tear at that point and waited one month. Today, a combined sinus lift: Elevate distally; Black Ruby medially, displacing bone; hyaluronic acid; and finally the implant.

Caso particolare. Abbiamo tolto la mini vite per evitare che in quel punto ci fosse una lacerazione ed atteso 1 mese. Oggi rialzo misto: - elevate distale. - BR mediale . Spostato osso. - Ialuronico - infine impianto

New case: I removed the orthodontic screw and after 6 days I performed today the sinus lift. This cas has been approached with: - elevate kit distally with 2mm of bone height - BLACK ruby mesially to move the bone from mesial to distal - sinus elevation with Hyaluronyc Acid - implant insertion

use a contratorque screw and a square rachet, with pressure you can remove the implant with “zero” boneloss. only not useful when connection is broken

This is the post op. With the magnetic mallet it was possibile also with braces. 8’mm flap… 2 sutures 😅

risky risky, show us the outcome is quite interesting

Should have performed bone graft augmention using Magnetic Mallet and left it for 7 months and then placed implant according to me . Its risky ..lets hope for the best and wait for results.
