Crestal sinus lift with a bone plug from 3 to 7 mm: bone core, instrument 300 and xenograft

I'd like to share a case I made Rodger now. This is a crestal sinus lift of approximately 7 mm performed using the bone plug (core) technique. The residual bone height was about 3 mm. Using a trephine bur, a bone core approximately 2.5 mm in height was harvested (during mallet tapping, the core became slightly thinner due to compression of the cancellous bone). The 300 instrument was then used to gently push the bone core toward the sinus, avoiding perforation of the Schneiderian membrane. A xenograft mixed with hyaluronic acid was placed beneath the elevated membrane, followed by implant insertion.

In post-operative CBCT is shown the bone core next to the implant apex.

Lovely.. 💐💐
