Having a versatile instrument such as the Mallet makes everyday cases incredibly straightforward. In this panoramic radiograph, tooth 16 has a hopeless prognosis; more importantly, there is insufficient vertical bone to place an implant without bone regeneration/a sinus lift. Once the tooth had been removed and the socket assessed, performing the lift was very quick. The sequence was: 200, 230, 300, 330, followed by a xenogeneic bone graft. The postoperative periapical radiographs show the characteristic dome around the implant surface.

Avere uno strumento versatile come il mallet consente di fare casi della quotidianità con una semplicità incredibile. In questa opt il 16 ha una prognosi infausta, ma soprattutto non ha osso verticalmente tale da consentire l’inserimento di un impianto senza fare rigenerativa/rialzo. Una volta tolto il dente ed analizzato l’alveolo, è stato un attimo fare un rialzo. La sequenza è stata: - 200 - 230 - 300 - 330 - innesto di osso eterologo. Le endorali post-operatorie mostrano la classica cupola attorno alla superficie implantare.
