Implant failure after sinus lift: does the CT scan show regenerated bone or fibrous tissue?

ComplicationsUnderstand what the case shows

Good morning, and happy Monday. This implant lost osseointegration a few weeks after placement. Today I obtained the following CBCT. I am wondering whether the collagen, particulate bone graft and hyaluronic acid placed together with the autogenous bone displaced into the sinus using the dedicated Mallet kit have nevertheless regenerated some bone, or whether the radiographic appearance represents only fibrous tissue or thickened mucosa with a few residual graft granules. The definitive assessment will clearly be made when the site is reopened.

This is how thickened mucosa usually appears to me.
