Upper second molar with a sinus cyst and little bone: how to proceed

Sinus liftDecide how to proceed

Good morning, everyone. Could I ask for your advice on how you would approach this maxillary second molar, given the cyst in the maxillary sinus and these residual bone dimensions? The cortical plate is probably already perforated near the palatal root. Thank you.

I would use a two-stage approach. First, extraction and socket preservation to maintain ridge width. After healing, I would manage the sinus at the same time as implant placement. This makes the procedure simpler and more predictable.

Io lo approccerei in 2 tempi. Estrazione e socket preservation per mantenere la trasversalità A guarigione gestirei il seno contestualmente all’inserimento implantate. Diventa tutto più semplice e predicibile

Do you usually involve an ENT specialist for the maxillary sinus?
