One of the most remarkable applications of the Magnetic Mallet is reshaping the maxillary sinus when placing tilted implants. I now use this technique extensively, including in full-arch cases.
By using the appropriate tips and some manual skill, the sinus can be displaced around tilted distal implants, allowing an additional tooth position in the prosthetic emergence profile.

Today I used a light Mallet impulse—I had 2 mm of cortical bone—followed by graft material and placement of a 5 × 8.5 mm implant. The radiographic result looks encouraging; we will assess the clinical outcome over time. 😃
